Who Uses What Turbo ?

For my 97 12 valve who makes a good rebuild kit for the motor

On another forum (Pirate 4x4), someone made the misstatement that an EZ couldn't be detected by a tech if removed. I searched on here, but couldn't come up with the key search words to find the old threads on this.

Does anyone know specifically how the EZ is detected, or can anyone link me to the thread where it was already discused?

Well

The ez can be detected if he runs a data stream on your ecm. The tech will have to check all the perameters that's stored in the ecm. Most Dodge dealers don't have the know how to do it. Only a Cummins tech can do it. So don't worry about them detecting your ez if you take it off.

Make sure and smear some grease or dirt on your MAP connector and remove the velcro from your PDC cover as well... . ;)

LSMITH,... paging LSMITH

I seem to remember him being one of the resident experts on the subject. I searched under his user name, but just don't have time to go through all 2700 posts. This isn't for fraudulent trips to the dealer either.
