Well, everyone knows I was the laughing stock at the last dyno run and I have been trying hard to find out what the heck is going on with the truck. I found out my fuel lever was not fully lifting up with the Solenoid last week and that helped a little.

My delivery valves were worn out or at least not perfect and the 191's I installed yesterday helped the idle and overall performance and while I was messin around I found my timing was at 14. 5 degrees. YUK! I did not have the gear puller. (screwed up and forgot to order it when I order the timing kit from Miller)

With the thicker head gasket I need much more timing. The thing has such low compression now it barely can burn the fuel.

Anyway Miller will get the call tomorrow and the timing will go up to help get some juice back in the truck.

Slowly gettin there.

Sound like your marching down the right road Don. Hey You can trust some people, I know my timing is correct. It was done by DDD (Doc Diesel Donnelly). hopefully the next Dyno runs will be in the 5XX + range!!:--) Oo.

I like your new sig!! Nasty Little Cam Plate:D Crack me up!!!!!

Dee, I installed my Piers modified 16 housing tonight and I love the thing. Much more low end power. Feels like my old Kwikspool 12 housing. I have 10psi of boost at low throttle movement. If I stab it hard it builds boost very fast to 38psi.

Remember I have a ported head and lost some boost from that too.

Great little housing Piers has.

Man don't be so hard on yourself you just learning! I for one didn't laugh at all, you knew there was a problem and I knew you would find it, guys like me learn allot form guys like You,Chris and Cord case in point the Dyno Day. Everyone of us had a specialty and no one knows everything, if I had a question about these trucks I would ask one of you, if you wanted to know how to Preflight a Boeing 707 you would ask me. Get it figured out and we'll all have a great time in March.

JFulmer, well said... .

I've always been of that same opinion... you don't go ask the baker for a good porterhouse... he's not likely to be able to give you what you're asking for. Ask him something that he is educated in and become educated yourself.

Matt - always learning, and hoping to educate in return.
