Archived Timing/p7100 question

I need someone who is very knowledgable about 12 valves and adjusting timing. I am in the middle of a timing job and something doesen't jive. Please help,, (936) 348-8968

OK, I fingered it out. I just wanted to make sure my pump was correct. It is a 911 pump and is the correct one for a 180 truck. The timing had slipped forward and was around 5. 85 mm lift. I set it back to 4. 9 mm lift and it is a little quieter and has better bottom end. Thanks!

I think thay can only slip back. I think only some 160 pumps use the smaller lift most of the other pumps use the higher lift. Have you matched the CPL on the pump to the lift timing chart?
