I have a second question since being given official posting priveleges. When I got my timing reset, the truck ran rougher than it had before. It was at 1. 75, they retarded it to 1. 35. When I asked the mechanic about it, he said the valves were too tight, and that caused the roughness at about 2000 rpm and/or 18 psi boost. My question is, if valve tightness caused the roughness, shouldnt it have been rough immediately? And why did my 92 (which is now Mom's) not run rough when I set it to the . 020 and . 010 exh/int, reapectively. Or is he just trying to give me the run around and not fix his mistake? He also wasnt real clear about his method of finding TDC. I am wishing I had left it alone. I am NOT reuturning unless it is to try to get my money back out of him. If my suspicions are confirmed here, I will be making a call to the BBB in a few days. TIA.

Daniel
