Timing vs no Timing

I've been reading through a bunch of posts and trying to figure it all out. I'm proble going to be buying a box very soon and some good friends also have 5. 9s and we all have been dscussing the diffrences in boxes. Going on the recomendation from TDR members it seems like smarty is the best one out there. The big question I can't seem to figure outis the big diffrence between smarty with timing and smarty with out timing. is there any write up that would cover that.

Advancing the timing should give you a little better top end, and lower the EGTs at the same time.



From what I've read, it seems best to stay away from pressure boxes (not stock fuel injector friendly), and get one that only makes changes to timing and duration.

Don't forget about better mpg Oo. . You probably already know that smarty has programs with and without timing. This is mainly for stacking with boxes that have timing of thier own, like an edge comp or regular tst.
