 Hi, I am looking for a shop in southern wis. that would adjust my timing. It seems as though it is hard to get anyone to change it to 15 or so. What kind of change can I expect if I can get someone to do it. Thanks for your help.

You usually get more upper end power a little better milage and a little more engine noise... ..... Sorry I cant help you in Wisc..... Rick

Where are you located?

If you're located in SE WI, I think that Huckstorf Diesel in Franklin would do it for you. There is also a shop near Madison that will do it also.

If you're close to ND Mikes Custom Truck Builders, (701) 587-6335 is just over the border and is highly recommended.

I have to say with my recent adjustment from stock to 15. 5, the power seems to be more agressive, but my engine "rattle" seems to be a little quiter. I am much quiter than my friends '01, idle and pulling.
