I'm amazed that they found a way to make a diesel application for a Tiny Tach! I've had the small (gas) engine version for years. Yes, the internal battery eventually wears out, and no it doesn't work anymore after that!

The manufacturer says the battery is good for 5 years... How long did yours last before it went dead? I only care that it lasts until I can find a factory unit or a good aftermarket unit.
