tips on posting pics

I am having troubles getting any pics to post, does anyone have any tips on a easy way to do this? Thanx.

Pics....

Make sure they are JPG or GIF files and under the size limitation.

How do you shrink a pic down small enough to be able to post on here? I have Photoshop 7 but do not know how to use it. Will it work? The pic is currently at 448KB. I just scanned it and that is what it came out to be.
