I don't know if I am getting the dreaded Death Wobble or something else, But me and a friend with a 2500 Hemi are getting it. When at about 75mph on speedo with stock suspensions and 315's if you hit a bump it starts bouncing. He described itas a shimmy, which sounds like DW, but mine is the left front bouncing up and down rapidly, It does not feel like both, just the left front, on a smooth freeway section I got to around 80-85 on the speedo and it just started without hitting a bump. .

Any Idea's or is it the DW and I need to do a search on DW.

NOTE: The 2500 Hemi truck added a steering stabilizer AND put on new Edelbrock shocks... Dealer told him to take OFF the stabilizer ??? ANd that the shocks were too stiff ???? Sounds Like they don't have a clue... The also said his tires are too big for the vehicle... OK then WHY didn't this happen until 32,000 miles for me and 25,000 for him... .

Thanks for the help. .

Sounds like the dealer isn't to bright. I would think a stiffer shock would be a good idea. More unsprung weight/mass to control.

My truck has 2 steering stabilzers. Not a dual setup, though. They are mounted independantly of each other. Looks to be OEM, but not sure.

I heard that the 315 BFGs contribute to the DW. I have them on my truck and had the exact same thing happen a while back. I'm going to a load range E tire in about a month.

I think I will take it to the dealer, Mine is different that my friends... . While Im there, I think I will buy an extended warranty too..... Got almost 2 more years on rental.....

Took truck to dealer, They are going to get new ball joints as they are a little worn, and a new set of front shocks under warranty. The Tech said he will check the front u-joints while it is apart... Truck has 34300 on it, should I push for the new u-joints since it is apart... . ????
