I watch Extreme loggers ice logging. I cant find a picture of the yellow piece of plastic that the Chip trucks have sticking out of the center portion of the wheel rim's. Its driving me NUTS (short trip for me) What is it part of the chain system you Canadian boy's use or what? sorry I cant find a pic of it but I have got to know.

Big I have seen them used on trailers to see if the wheels are still turning after they stop in the winter time. Some times in the winter when they stop the brakes freeze to the drums. It is easy to look in the mirrors and see the flapper moving around and around.

That's what they are for. Once it starts getting cold we put the markers on, one on each wheel. They go on over a lug nut and are held in place by another nut. The straps are nice to have especially when it is dark. You really can't feel if a wheel is frozen with a empty trailer on ice.

Ya I can testify about not being able to see things moving on a truck I ran 11 western states when I was O/O and have been under a truck TO MANY TIMES trying to free brakes up. Thanks for real im really nuts about things like that. I got up last nite and looked some more on the Internet the wife said you need some help and bad.
