I have a 2011 Ram 2500 4x4 and considering increasing the tire size from stock. Is there a computer re-program to reset the speedo and shift points in the auto transmission?

hypertech makes a nice ODB programmer that corrects your speedo after a tire size change. You can get them with or without power tuning capabilities. That adjustment will get your trans back to "normal" as the speeds will be correct in the ECM. Any other trans tuning will require aftermarket tuning (H&S, EFI Live, etc). If you live near someone with a Smarty tuner, I've found that loading a tune on your truck, then correcting the speedo, then restoring your truck to stock will keep the tire adjustment in the ECM. Of course they would have to unload the tuner from their vehicle before loading yours, but a 6-pack can be pretty convincing! I'm in the Sacramento CA area if anyone needs this assistance.

I have a 2013 2500 4x4 with the OEM tires with 70,000 on them! Wanting to go to a 285-70-17 ! I'm leaning very strongly towards the Michelin LTX AT2!
Does anyone have any experience with these tires?
