Rotated the tires yesterday and found a couple of flat spots. NOT all the way across just on the outside edge about the size of a silver dollar. The worker tried to tell me the sipes and tread are staggered at different depths to help eliminate road noise. Therefore the more shallow ones will wear faster. I think he was just lazy and didn't want to put out any effort as it was about quitting time. The guy I usually deal with was out so I'll just have to go back. I worked at a tire shop for a good while and I am thinking maybe a soft spot in the tread or the beginning of a separated tread. Truck rides ok and does not pull to one side or the other. Has anyone heard of this. Truck has oem tires and are the general's. New michelin's sure would hurt the wallet. I have 33k on them.
