Tire diffrence

what UP fellows, i have a question for you pros. this weekend i am picking up

some tires from a friend of mine that said he has some tires that might fit my

truck, i a getting them for free so why not. the only thing my tires are

LT285/70R17 and the ones i am picking up are LT315/70R17 can somebody

tell me what the difference is?:-laf

I would make sure the 315's are load range E's.
