can I replace it? having that tire in the back slide all around is not good

when one thing goes you got to jump in and get it fixed

but now I have 3 or 4 things

but we will get done

we like to keep our truck in good shape#@$%!

Master cable lock solves it.

It's a dealer item priced at $75. 00 approx. It's the whole assembly. Mine died and the wife brought it to my attention. After replacement,I threaded a Master 6' cable lock through the overhead bed mount crossmember, then through the wheel spokes. Problem solved. Amazon.com is one source of the lock.

I had that happen on my old 92 Dakota. Good thing I was looking in my rear-view or I wouldn't have known it was missing until...

Anyway, it was absolutely hilarious to watch, bounce, bounce, bounce, on a backroad, luckily. Now, the day my buddy's rucksack flew out the back of my truck onto an interstate bridge crossing a creek, that was an accident waiting to happen. We were lucky on that one. Whewww!

i simple bought a chunk of cable from a surplus store and replaced it in the winch. Then i addd a grease fitting to it.

worked great, cost $8.

good luck
