Has anyone done any experimenting with tire pressure on 1 ton duallys? I have a 2000 quad cab 1 ton dually diesel, auto:( 4x4. I pull a 26' enclosed car trailer on weekends(approx 8k lbs gross). I was wandering if anyone has figured out an ideal tire pressure, front and rear, that will give max tire wear, ride and load handling.

I don't know this to be best, but I use 67lbs, front and rear. I haul a camper that is 3000lbs dry, sometimes a trailer over 11000lbs, and sometimes nothing. I have 39000 miles on the factory mich. tires, and they still look like they will go over 50000 safely.

Hope this helps.

Look in your owner information book. There is a sheet that gives recommended tire pressures for sifferent loads. This is NOT the owners manual, it is a seperate sheet.
