I am just curious if anyone has found a good Tire Pressure to run for the best wear with 35" tires. I just put on 35" Toyo M/T's on my stock wheels. I have the front at 55 PSI and the rears at 40 PSI for starters.

I am on my first set of these tires and love them. I have messed around alot with pressure for the ride more than wear. I have 53,000 miles on mine and I still have 1/8" left and thats wityh over 2000 feet of sled pulling this summer and about 700 feet of burnouts. But anyways I found that 50 psi works well for me all the way around or even 45 in the rear only.

i have 35's on 20" wheels and i like 30psi front and rear. it rides great. when towing i run them up to 60. i have about 17k miles on them in about a year. lots of highway pulling trailers and have about 3/4 of tead left.

I have 305/70-17 Nitto Terra Grapplers (not the same tire, but close) ... E-rated. I run 40 up front and 35 in the back. Rides fine for me.

Load index at 35 psi is 2405 and at 40 is 2605.

You may want to get the tables from Toyo before you go TOO low.

Wow it sounds like I better lower mine, I'm running with 65 in the front and 45 in the rear. 35" Toyo M/T's

This explains my rough ride on the speed bumps around here.

We typically run 35 in the front, 30 in the rear if empty. Wear is not drastically diminished, and ride is much more compliant.

I'm running them at 65 PSI. Only have about 5K on the truck but seems to be wearing good. of course, ride is a little rough. For the sake of my kidneys I'll probably do the 55-40 PSI split many are doing here...

Again, to all those running 55 or above, for comparisons sake, here is the table for my 305/70-17 E Nitto's:

35 - 2405

40 - 2605

45 - 2780

50 - 3000

55 - 3220

60 - 3440

65 - 3640

So, as you can see, unless you really have a need to have your tires capable of carrying over 14k lbs, you prolly don't need them at 65 psi. Just my opinion.

not to hijack, but my 295 nittos finally gave out - How do you like your 305 series tires? wearing good?

I hear the 35 12. 50s rub a bit with 2005 and no lift 2500. I see that Toyo makes a 34 11. 50 AT. Is anybody running with these? If so, do they run w/o rubbing in hard turn? Notice a gas mileage difference?

Thanks - Tom
