I would like to mount 265 75 16 tires on my 95 Ram, using the OEM Chrome rims. The suggested wheel width for these tires is 7 to 8". I'm not sure of the width of my wheels, but I think they are 6". Am I asking for trouble or will they work?

BTW: The tires I'm thinking of getting are BFGoodrich Commercial T/A Traction, if anyone has direct knowledge of them.
