Tire Question

I am looking to get some new tires and was thinking of getting BFG All Terrains 305 65 17's and can't seem to find an answer for this. On an 06 can the speedo be adjusted for these tires. According to the BFG site the 305's will be 636 revs. If the speedo can be adjusted can it be done with a Smarty, at the dealer only, or with some other computer. My second question is has anyone gotten this size of tire at a Costco and if so did they give you a hard time since the size is not the recommended factory size? I have an 06 2500 SLT quad cab 4x4 G56

Sound like you and I have about the same truck. I put on 285/75 17" and then set my speedometer using a Smarty. Verified the speed by going 60 on the interstate and timing it.

In short, yes the Smarty will allow you to adjust for tire size.
