Can anyone tell me how 315. 75. 16 tires fit under a stock Ram 2500 4X4? Mostly, is there adequate clearance, will they fit the stock rim, and how much might the speedo be thrown off?

If the speedo is off much would you recommend having it re-calibrated, or just remember it reads x amount low?

Thanks

Jerry

What is the year and options on the truck. On my truck I ran 315's for 37000 miles on stock rims and no lift. They do rub at full lock but I just didn't turn the wheel all the way. Actually the only way to run those tires on the stock height is on a wheel with the same offset as factory. As you change the offset it comes closer to the fenderwell, and thus rubs. :)

I have the 315 MT/Rs on stock alloy wheels on my truck without a lift. The only rubbing I have is at full lock and full stuff. The rubbing at full lock is slight and can be eliminated by changing the offset of the wheel. I've also read that someone made some stops. It just doesn't concern me enough to do either as yet.

The rubbing at full stuff on the flattened portion at the back of the wheel well. This can be eliminated by lower the bump stop. Again this doesn't concern me enough to resolve as yet.

I don't really do any hardcore wheeling with the Ram, that's why I have my Sami. If I did, I would definitely resolve the rubbing.

The 315's can be run on the stock aluminum 16x8's ('01+) but it is not recomended to run them on pre '01 steel wheels.
