general info

The best tire really depends on how you are going to use it, what size you want etc. If you haul heavy, never go offroad or go offroad a lot, snow, mud etc. I am on my second set of Bridgestone dueler revos. I think they are great but they are not good in the mud. They excel everywhere else in fact I would go so far as to say the best all around tire I have ever used except in the mud. I got 60k out of my first set and have about 28k so far on the second set and they look like they will go as far this time around as well. Again though it depends on how you are going to use them and the size you are looking for. Size may very well dictate your choices as not all tires come in all sizes.

Barry is certainly right about the use factor. In my case I go off road quite a bit, but it's my back yard. Everything else is highway. The stock tires were Goodyear. They were pretty good and I got good life out of them. At that time I had a slight drift to the right that the front end shop could not fix. After three more sets of tires, one Goodyear the other two some other brand that the front end shop was selling, they all lasted well but I still had the slight drift to the right. The last two sets are Michilen from Costco. NO drift!
