Anyone point me to one that shows a 8R 19. 5 tire? Trying to see the size difference between the stockers and those. TIA!!

McAfee does not like that one ! Did the Google search also, all the ones I try using do not list a 8R 19. 5.

Can't help much with the calcs. The 8R is about 8 inch max width (hmm, is this a 'duh!'??). They stand under 33. 5" tall loaded; they squat a little more. The 225/70/19. 5s I've been using are 8. 5-9" max width, can have wider tread, and sit about 32" tall. Both can use a 6" wide wheel, though I think a 6. 75" wheel plants the tread better on our 'lighter' trucks. If you thought my tires were skinny, the 8Rs can look even skinnier.

Try 8R19.5 and 225/70/19.5 or just browse through Rickson's site map. He has the unloaded heights listed as well as the revs/mile (which will let you compute the loaded radius: radius[loaded, inches] = 5280/revpermile/6. 28*12). And with that, you can determine the loaded height.
