315/70R17 (35") is supposed to be the biggest without a lift. I can't speak from experience, but there are a ton of folks with the tires and pictures that are running them. Scotty

I have an '05 4x4 2500 and I actually lowered it. It has 305/55/20 and I have no rubbing issues. It converts to a 33" tire and I have had no problem, you just really have to check with the offset of the rim. If it is a stock rim, I really do not see an issue with 35" or even if you get an aftermarket rim with similiar backspacing.

Do you mean 305/50/20? 55 series in that size is pretty rare. I've thought about 305/50/20 as a meaty 20" for the street especially since most tires that size have a good weight rating of 3086 pounds but feared it would have rubbing issues.
