2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission tire size

Wondering the biggest tire I can clear on 96 ram r cab 4x4 I have 295/75/16 on the stock chrome steel wheels

I don't know. Are those 7", 7 1/2" width rims? I'm running 285's on my factory alloys, which are 8"s wide, and I've been told that's the limit. A good tire shop could tell you, or National Tire, they're at www.natltire.com

Thanks I have been on their before and it shows 295/75/16 are the biggest Just wondering if any has put 305 or 315 with no lift
