Larger Tires and Speedo/ECM Problems???

I need some advice here gentlemen. The new dually is a dream to drive, but the tire valve stems are a PITA to get to. I even went to Napa and bought a 12" tire inflater for my air compressor, and it's still a pain. I was thinking of getting one of those hose kits that join the valve stems together and then position the fill valve near an opening in the rim. Question is, are they any good?? Do they hold air without leaking? And what if you get a hole in one of the dually's, do they both go flat?? Any practical experience is welcome before I go out and waste money if they are no good... ... ... ... ... Thanks, Sarge

Had Wheel Masters on my Motorhome and they are easy to use but twice over the years I have had a leak failure when out on the road PITA. I have noticed a brand that does not keep the extension hoses pressurized which would have prevented my flats. I think I saw them in Camping World's catalog.

Make sure you get the tires balanced with them on. I have seen even the little decorative valve caps throw the balance off significantly.

don't forget valve stems........

When going to any kind of upgrade system, I would recommend going with metal vavle stems. I put a set of extension hoses on my original rubber stems and they did not have a very secure mounting system for the hoses (or I put them on backwards). Anyway, the hoses came loose and pulled out both inside valve stems. Now I run metal stems with metal extensions, they are still a bit difficult but not impossible.
