got a set of Michelins on last fall (95 3500 2wd) and have not had them to run smooth yet, bought them at NTB and have been back 4 times for rebalancing, it seems at certain lower speeds that truck is shaking side to side more than bouncing up and down, has anyone had trouble with any of the following that they think might be part of my problem? bent wheel(NTB said they were OK), rotors, drums or when tightening down the duall rear wheels it seems to me that they dont always tighten down flat against the hub and dont run true? Any suggestions would help, I've just about gotten were I dont like driving the truck on the highway. Also fixed my fuel gauge by removing the sending unit and trimming back the plastic on the metal pin the arm pivots on, then drilling a hole in a thin round piece of metal just slightly larger than the pin (making a washer that fits tight on the pin), then slipped the washer down over the pin firm enough so that the contacts were touching and took a small sharp cold chisel and split the pin (just like splitting wood with a wedge) so that it held the washer down, you can split the pin more or squeeze it back together to get the desired tightness so the float will still go up and down correctly, was kind of a simple fix because I did not have anything else to work, so far so good we'll see how long it last.
