I heard it break!

Hilsboro cargo trailer?

Hate to tell you this but being in the south I find that the tires are unrated for 65 mph in 100 degree weather. I think you should look at tires in the 3000# capacity or come Jul-Aug you will be looking at the same blowouts.
I run 3340# tube tires to get about 12000# in the heat. I end up with about 10k on trailer and 2k on the truck.

I had 15" tires with E rating, couldn't keep them on the trailer, went to 16" E rating, same story, different verse, I now have a different brand tire and have not had a problem in about 10,000 miles. My trailer rear axles combined weigh 8910. bg

I just had the pleasure of blowing 3 of 4 tires on my 5er this weekend. It was like a pit drill, every 80 miles... bang!

The trailer is a toybox so the weight varies from 7000-10000lbs. It's GVW is 10,000 and the stock tires were C range (2125lbs). 4 C tires is only 8500lbs.

What do you guys have on comparable trailers? I want the manuf. to reimburse me for the D's I bought but I want to get all my duck in a row first. Thanks for the help.

Jeff

I run 265/85/R16 E's Wrangler HT With the circle S, on my Big A$$ trailer.
(The Big A$$ stands for Big, heAvy and expen$$ive)
Rated above 3000# per.
If you have 16' Wheels get these from GoodYear. Roughly $200 per but, worth it!
When I raced DONORcycles the question was, "Do you have a $10 head, then wear a $10 helmet"
So I ask, "Dou have $100 toys, then buy $100 tires?"
Sorry, I'm really adamant about quality tires.
