I've got a set of 285/70/17 Nitto Tera Grapplers on my 04. I've gotten tired of the wear that i'm seeing. They're down to 7/32nds around 5,000 miles!:{ I'm thinking of going to a set of Cooper Discoverer s/t's. What do you people out there think of these tires?

Thanks in advance.

I have no experience with the s/t, but I had ATR and STT from cooper. Both had great tread wear. In fact I think the ATR has a factory warranty regarding tread life wear. They have a center wear rib. The STT was VERY Loud. Good luck.

I also have the ATRs. Started with them on my Jeep for plowing snow and they work GREAT! Loved them so much put a set on my dually and then wife's Durango. The Durango had Cooper H/Ts on it before-they are one step less aggressive. Couldn't be happier with the bad weather performance of the ATRs. Can't speak for longevity just because my driving habits don't have me doing tons of mileage. ATRs on the dually have been there for 3 years, but probably only 30k miles. Tires still have very good tread on them and have been used for heavy towing. All total, bought 14 ATRs for my vehicles and not one regret.
