with a 2 inch leveling kit will i be able to fit a set of 35 12. 50s on my 2002 ram 2500 ext. cab long bed. without rubbing issues

Some say yes, some say no. Really depends on if you are using stock or aftermarket wheels and what brand tire. Some brands run small and some larger.

He's right. You'll need to know the actuall width of the tires you plan to use and the backspace and width of the rims you plan to use if other than stock. My 10 inch american racing baja's and 35X12. 5R16. 5 BFG MT's rub the inner fenders even with DT long arms. MANY people run the metric equivalent on their stock 16's and never rub, some even without new links and the level kit only.
