2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Tires

I am currently running Bridgestone A/T tires, have been for 4 years now. When I switched to them from the OEM Michelins, I noticed a 2mpg drop in my mileage. So I am looking for tires again, I am leaning towards OEM, but I do use my truck for hunting and so am still looking at A/T tread patterns, but I would like my mileage back. Wondering if anyone has had luck with another brand? Thanks

Are both tire sets the same size?

Yes, I did not change the size, just the type. The Bridgestones seem much softer.
