when you order a new 3500 srw what is the tire package with alloy wheels that gives you the Michelin tires for sure. i have seen bfg's in couple different tread patterns and the Michelin tires. i got so many miles out of mine on 2001 i would like to get them again

Not sure about the alloys but they came standard on my SLT. They have great grip (once their broken in) and even do well in the snow. I'm wondering if their one of the reasons these trucks ride so well too.

You want some real rubber

If you guys want some real rubber, put on a set of BFG 315/70R-17 all terrains. Lots of guys have been putting these on our new 03's. I think they ride great, not much noise, have good traction in rain & snow, plus look great all for about $150. 00 each (includes shipping, and the price for mounting and balancing locally) Do a search and you will see some photos of these tires on our trucks, these should have been on them from the factory, not the little go-cart tires they come with.
