Anyone watching WRESTLEMANIA...

The Titan Missile Museum in Tucson is doing a once-a-year night tour on March 13. Once a year they offer the chance to see the whole complex from top to bottom. This is the facality where some of the Star Trek movie "First Contact" was filmed. If anyone is interested in the tour, call 520-625-7736 for reservations.

I went on the tour last night. What an awsome experience. We got to see the whole facility from top to bottom (literally), and could basically spend as much time in the silo as we wanted. I spet about 3 hours there. Many of the guides were retired military that worked at this or other Tital II sites when they were active.

A photo tour from the Titan II website can be seen at

Here's a couple of my favorites that I took last night:

Your album of Patagonia Lake is awesome. I lived at 2280 Patagonia Road, 11 or so miles to the West and at the Rail X Ranch, just East of Patagonia.

Thanks. We enjoy Patagonia SP as often as we can get there. It's an easy 1 hour drive for us. We are also trying to see all the parts of Chochise Country I have been reading about in the JA Jance books. I'm slowly falling in love with SE AZ.

Do you use a Garmin GPS? I have a spot marked that is just off the highway on top of a hill, lots of room for the RV and overlooking the desert. Just inside NM south of I-10. It is just begging for overnight camping.

I also have the wayppoint for MUST HAVE Mexican food in Tucson, just off I10 (I17?).

If you use Garmin I can email the Mapsource files to you.

Thanks for posting your adventures for us all to enjoy!!!
