I am looking at the Titan 7030313 55 gallon replacement tank for my 2015 RAM Crew Dually long bed. It is supposed to work with the rear air ride. TransferFlow said they don't have a tank for the rear air yet.

Anyone have thoughts or experience with the Titan replacement tanks?

Titan rocks

I had one on a '05 LB a few years back. It was a used tank I bought off a guy. It was kind of a pain to put in, but once it was all in and bolted up I had no problems with it. I was able to go 750 miles before I had to fill up. I believe I was able to get about 45 gallons in a fill up. I would love to have one now but I am waiting to see how the new truck goes for a few months on mileage and range.

i have the tank that goes where the spare tire is located.it was a pain in the butt to install.once in it works fine.i can go about 1200 hundred miles on the two tanks.

There is a difference between a replacement tank and an additional tank. Ron said replacement. Snoking

Too much money

The spare tire tank is too much money for me. They need to come down in price for that to be reasonable. No way I am spending close to 2k for a tank that only holds 30 gallons. For that price I could get a in bed tank and have money leftover.

The tank I am talking about is a direct replacement of the stock small 32 gallon tank. Titan tank is 55 gallons. The sales guy I talked to from Titan said the biggest problem is people not properly tightening the bolts that hold the factory unit to the top of the tank.

I paid 500 or so for an in bed 90 gallon tank. Loved it on long trips to ny as their fuel is 50 cents more per gallon. Cant afford to lose the bed space in my new truck and would love to swap out the stock tank for something larger....but did i read that right? A replacement can run $2k? That is nuts.......

The one I was pricing is $1,204 no shipping.

I asked them (Titan) if they were going to come out with a tank for my 2013 2500 4x4 short bed they said No. Guess the 13's are a bit of a misfit being the last year with the Hotchkiss leaf springs and the first year with the DEF tank. I really miss the 35 gal tank my 05 and 12 had even though the 13 get's better MPG's than the 12 it was always nice to have some reserve. I don't want to do an In the Bed tank as the bed is small enough as it is. Maybe if enough of us ask for it they will build it? one can dream can't one..... I'd be ok if it cost $1250- 1700 to get that extra 5 to 10 gal with out having to carry another tank someplace....

Has anyone spoke with Titan to see if they will offer a stock replacement tank for the 2015 crew cab, short bed 4x4?

I sent them a message off their web site but never got a reply. I just haven't thought about it during business hours to pick up the phone to call.

Email this guy, he confirmed that the tank I listed above will work with my factory rear air ride.
