KY. trip and im back

I like the new site upgrade so far, this is the first time i have been on in awhile as i have been occupied with another site which pertains to my somewhat large 6x6 deuce.

I can finally say i have had some weight in the bed as of now, this includes 2 NDCC military tires(im guessing 40lbs a piece) One half of a Can(for those military pple you know what im talking about) Im guessing the bottom half to weigh 800lbs, One LDT 465-1C engine comeing in at 1650lbs, 20 gal of diesel fuel, my spare tire for the dodge and one bottom to an air shock seat(all metal probably 50lbs, now all thats in the bed.

For the front cab, around 60lbs of tools, me and my friend guessing 475lbs(us together) extra clothes and stuff another 50lbs.

How did the dodge ride, wonderful!!!! :D and at 70mph down the Interstate from Ky. back to Va. the Cummins purred right along and actually seemed to enjoy the weight and something i found out the heavier the weight the smoother the Automatic transmission changes, maybe thats what the 47RE needs some weight behind it to make it work right.
