Toolbox/tank combos

Aluminum trailer wheels

... hey, I gotta thank all of you guys out there that warned me off - coulda been an expensive screwup. I think that the following will give me all the grunt I need for towing and not necessitate any clutch upgrades: EZ box, 1st stage injectors (the next size up from stock), 4" exhaust and those new EV isspro gauges. Now that I've done a little homework (like I shoulda before I opened my fat yap on that thread) that looks like the best route to go. . Thanks again guys!

If your going to go with only stage 1 injectors, I would suggest a set of 275 RV injectors. They will save you bunch of $$$. Just a thought.

I thought the DDI's were rated at 300hp and flow balanced for smoother running??

That's the best part about this site... ... even if the question is asked before, you still get the answer you need.

It helps to be an information sponge on this site.

I had NO IDEA you could HOTROD a diesel 'til I found this site. :D

Oo.

hyrax,

I am with Tex on this. 275s or dd2s. I ran 275 ez combo and it is very nice. put out 303hp at the rear wheels on the dyno. You can't beat the price on 275s:D It is a whole lot of bang for your buck.

You should also be warned that you are not guarentied to be fine in the clutch department. I was fine with that combo but some people have had clutch issues with stock or very mild mods on eth/dee trucks that tow. Just know that so it does not sneak up on you later. Then you get to deal with South Bend:D which is always a pleasant experience.

You will be very happy once you mod up the truck.

Ted
