If you go with the FASS... make sure that you do the warranty paperwork and also a copy of your invoice for them to file. . If the paperwork is not complete. . there is no warranty. Read the instructions well and do exactly what they say. . But they are a great company to deal with so far. . very helpful

I don't have either, but I have read alot of stuff on here about Fass's being really really noisy. The Glacier stuff seems simpler, I did buy the Pro Flow intake and spacer from them and it was a great transaction, fast shipping and excellent customer service. I think in the fufture I am going to buy their fuel pump and filter kit with the big line kit.

I have the Glacier, and there simply isn't *any* noise with it. I understand that the FASS has been recently redesigned to be quieter though. Personally, I'd stick with the Glacier. If you check through the forums I think you will find fewer examples of problems with it than the FASS. If you are thinking about FASS, then you should also be considering the Airdog, which is sold by the guy who invented the FASS technology, and about which I have heard good things.

My vote... Glacier. Ive never really heard anything bad about them. Ive heard some complaints on FASS, mostly on noise, but I do think they have a quieter pump now. Glacier is simplicity; if you happen to lose the pump on the road, catch a ride into town and you can buy one at most any auto parts store. Or carry an extra with you. Its, what, a 5-10 minute swap?? Cant do that with FASS. Ill be getting the Fuel Hoss from GDP, its a mechanical pump run off the balancer...

Running airdog and its a great setup not as noisy as factory either. I would def consider it as well if you are looking at fass.

No personal experience with the FASS systems. Did lots of research on here and talked to folks with both systems before deciding on the GDP Walbro kits for the 98 and the 01. Easy installs. Great customer service. Richard pretty much works 24/7 so if you have problems he will talk to you. Had one pump fail on the 98. Not sure the reason, but I did not run the pre-filter. Richard replaced the pump no questions asked, except to try and figure why the pump had failed to help avoid it next time. The second one was here next day (my choice) installed with the pre-filter and no problems since then. That would have been 10 months ago. And no, you cannot hear this pump.

Fass

Folks, the FASS noise complaints were with the OLDER pumps. They have been redesigned and are absolutely not obnoxious at all.

I have recently installed a FASS 150/150 and am impressed with the quality of parts and the system.

I could tell immediately when I started it after the install that my truck was idling much smoother...

I am not affiliated with FASS and have no experience with the others...

Cheers, Bill

I went with the Glacier for ease of installation, servicing, cost, and, as everybody has mentioned, Richard's outstanding customer service. I installed a see-through pre-filter (after boring out all the passages to increase flow). Never had any problems with it, installation was simple, and I have solid, steady 15 psi (I removed one of the pressure shims; it comes stock at 20 psi). I also installed Glacier's big line kit all the way from the tank to the VP. Here's a pic of my install:
