I'm getting ready to do about 3000 or so miles over the holidays with the truck camper in the back of the truck. Truck has ~23000 miles on it so far and no troubles as of yet. I'd be due for an oil change early on in the trip so I plan to head to the dealer to get it changed before heading out. Usually, they will check to see if there are any new flashes out and ask if I want it when I take it in for an oil change. It hasn't been flashed since the G30 recall and seems fine... and would be even better if my mileage was actually what the overhead was reading (I had a couple of unloaded hwy tanks at 75+ mph return 19+ mpg on the overhead only to calculate out at 16. 5-ish by hand). Other than that, no complaints.
So, accept the new flash, or stick with a good thing?
