I am completely lost. Please help!
05 Dodge 1 Ton 4x4 auto 5. 9. After 15000 mile break in installed Banks Six gun, speed loader, Ram intake and 4 Inch exhaust. Truck ran great for about 20000 miles then dumped fuel in the crank case till it ran out on the ground. Took it to Dodge no help at my dealer so I had a new crate engine installed. After 15000 mile break in reconnected the banks system everything was running good. I decided I wanted more power so had Industrial Injections 50 HP injectors, Silver 62 turbo, ATS manifold, AFE air cleaner, intercooler and 150 FASS system installed.
I had these items installed at a different Dodge dealer that I received a recommendation on that the mechanic was really good with the diesel trucks. The truck ran great but smoked real bad from the first time it was fired up. Took the truck out to industrial injection they replaced the banks system with and Edge with Attitude, replaced the injectors, fitted a smaller exhaust side housing on the turbo and could not get it to stop smoking. After a week in Salt Lake City I had to go home.
I went to a local diesel performance garage here in Memphis TN, Mid south Diesel. They replaced the injectors again, put the stock turbo back on and have gone through the whole fuel system and motor and cannot make the truck stop smoking. They checked Injector volume Return, Actual Fuel Pressure against Set Fuel Pressure, and everthing else they could think off.
The truck still smokes on initial throttle at take off or when driving down the road if you step into the throttle. After the turbo builds boost the smoke is reduced.
They have called me and told me the only thing they know to do is change the computer but since they cannot read the computer because they do not have the connector for the dodge that only a Dodge Dealer can do it.
They are stumped I am stumped Can ANYONE assist me with this problem?
