2022 will of course be a longer wait 3500 regular cab long ho aisin tradesman or bighorn. What do you think? Going to talk to the salesman this afternoon

Based on the information in one of your other threads the orders for 2021's are no longer being accepted. 2022's can be ordered in about 3 weeks.

FWIW: the prefix you're selecting is for C&C trucks, not pickups.

My dealer says we can. Guess I will see today. What pre fix should these post be under I’m not understanding please explain

Let us know what they say about ordering one.

There is no prefix needed for pickup discussions. The only prefix in the 4th gen section is for C&C trucks. When you create the thread just leave the prefix blank.

If it were me and I could wait...I would wait. The rumors are either a ZF HD 8 speed or Allison 9 speed. Beyond that, with the current car/truck climate you are going to be paying a lot more. MSRP if you are lucky. If you have the cash, dont want to wait or dont care about an 8 or 9 speed transmission...get a 2021.

Forget the Tradesman, it lacks so many features it almost hurts. Even the dash is stripped down so you dont get all the gauges that every higher trim has.
Tradesman are real company trucks.

Different strokes for different folks. I am perfectly happy with my Tradesman. I need a truck, period. The extra foo foo nanny gadgets are unnecessary fluff to fail later on down the road.

No 2021 orders. Just what’s on the lot and dang few of those to be had. So 2022 about late august maybe September deliver. They don’t even know the prices yet but predict they will go up. I spec ed out a tradesman The silver I would like is a dark gray color now. My wife bought a new Lexus last fall in this color and it shows the dirt and is already scratched up not good. Might go ih case red color black bumpers. Couple changes and might order today. No words on Allison transmissions The transit man who orders the trucks and worked there for 41 years and started as a car washer said rumors are always out there all the time about many things so ?

Do they have the 2022 spec sheet? Or did you spec in on a 2021 sheet?

Based on the other thread you won't be able to actually order a 2022 til mid June.

Bighorn is almost as simple, no bells and whistles to. But at least a full dash board.
Buddy has a bought a Tradesman and regrets it now after he has seen a better equipped one.
And I'm not talking about nanny gadgets, they are in higher trims then Bighorn.
There is stuff one thinks is granted but later finds they aren't, for example adjustable pedals.
Or an adjustable seat. Or a glove box. Or steering wheel controls for the radio. And so on.

No offense to someone that really want a vehicle where they stopped building half ways on the assembly line.
But ist must be a fully educated decision, based on facts and not just, "oh, okay I don't need a blind spot warning so I buy a Tradesman because it is cheap"

Foo foo stuff :D

Understood Ozy. It sure doesnt hurt to explain the differences if one is asking, which he is for certain things but has also been very sure of other options that he wants/doesn't want.

He wants a Reg cab long bed, rubber floor.

Doesn't want blue tooth or sat or any of the other features that are standard on everything but Tradesman levels, but somehow a crew cab Laramie is the truck he needs :D:D

The power fold mirrors may well make the difference between getting a Tradesman and a Bighorn unless they can be ordered as such.

I don't know... Too each is own but I thought my 3rd gen heated leather seats were awesome until I spent some seat time on these ventilated Limited leather seats...... They are like a comfy sofa and with the cooler on sucks the swamp ass away

For me either way almost all of them are a mortgage on wheels so I might was well get the gold toilet since I will be keeping it for awhile... (devils advocate that's more things to go bad but heh... that's what MaxCare is for.)
