ok so WTF, i got some jammer4 nozzles sitting on my garage desk just waiting to be put in... . and i am on the fence about pop testing the injectors before slapping them back in the truck.

it seems like half of the people here think its a good idea, and the other half think its a waste of time.

how about from someone who has done it both ways, and noticed a difference, or no difference??

Better safe than sorry... ... ... money wisely spent to ensure that the truck is running good.

I've always bought new Don's F1s. I borowed a friends used Jammers while I was waiting for my 5 and sold my 1. 6s. The Jammers didn't really idle that smooth otherwise they were allright - I'd have them pop tested. For the little it'll cost you to pop them it could save you $$$ if one of them is really off and hurt the engine by dumping too much fuel in one cylinder - ouch!

Pop testing should be done since you are changing the nozzle. Pop testing allows you to know at what pressure the injector is opening at and set them all to the correct opening pressure... . about 280 bar for the 24v. They should ALL be even as uneven opening pressure will change cylinder timing from cylinder to cylinder.

I agree.

Always test injectors, for the 20 bucks and 10 minutes it takes, how could you go wrong. An unmatched set of injectors or worst yet an injector with bad spray patterns can cause lots of trouble. Just my $0. 02.
