please read truck profile and tell me about the turnbuckle theory. Does it help or potentially hurt? :cool: with turnbuckle i get about 32 psi boost and without it's about 22. but i cant really feel the difference, so what the pro's and con's? :-{}

are your egts fine at 22psi? you can adjust the wastegate to get a higher boost level without totally disabling the wastegate and that would be a safer way to go too

i'm not sure about egt's yet. i havent towed trailer since i installed gauges. how can wastegate be adjusted? without trailer its about 1000 degrees at wot and doing about 75 as fast as i can.

the wastegate rod on the bottom of the turbo is threaded so it can be lengthen or shorten to produce more or less pressure.

its best to remove the turbo to do the job.

When I first put my EZ on with the HY, I couldn't even go up a small to moderate hill empty without seeing 1300*! I did the turnbuckle trick and that took care of that... ... ...

just curious... should i stay with EZ EDGE or go with EDGE COMP or similar box or maybe mild injectors ??? :D what is the best towing setup? not racing setup.

I'm sure what Bob means is that the CaTCHER ECM is an excellent choice for towing. I've used both the Edge EZ & The CaTCHER. I found the latter a more satisfying BOMB.
