Where can I find out about towing a vehicle behind a motor home? I have a 90 4Runner and want to upgrade it to the 96-02 style. While I don't actually have a motor home I would like to be able to tow it behind my 03 3500. It sure would come in handy when I have to take it somewhere for repairs or whatever. Shadrach

According to my Blue-Ox book,it is able to be flat towed just placing transfer case into neutral. It does state that there is a limitation to 6hrs of towing. At which time you simply start the vehicle and run in neutral for a few minutes. This is just to circulate the fluids in the transmission. It does say to look into the owners manual for specific instructions... . look under Recreational Towing in your manual. The Baseplate from Blue-Ox is BX3721 and takes about 2 hrs to install using regular tools.
