I need to get a tonneau for my Ram. I'm considering either the Mopar folding unit or the Pace-Edwards roll-up. Does anyone have experience with either of these units? Will either work if over-the-rail Line-X is used? Thanks for your help.

Hey Greg;
I have the Pace Edwards and a Line-X over the rail. The Line-X guy installed the roll-top and sorta screwed it up. When he drilled the holes for the rails for the top, he must have not used a long bit or something because he chewed up the rubber gasket, cause now it leaks a little.
But, I think the roll-top is pretty cool, I would install it myself if I was you. Or find some one who is a slightly smaller goober than the guy who put on mine.
Good luck, BigUgly

Greg,

The foldup has a few advantages. It's easy for one person to remove and reinstall if you need to. Strong enuff to walk on. Locks. I really like mine and would NEVER go back to a soft cover.

I have looked at a lot of covers and just ordered the Pace-Edwards roll top. A friend of mine just put one on his Phord. Was pretty easy to instll, but requires at least two people to make it easy. Good luck.
