Tonneau Soft Rollup Cover

What recommendation for a good soft rollup tonneau cover that will hold up in the cold of winter 0 degrees and the heat of summer 100 degrees and that locks? I looked at the Extang RT and the Lund Genesis. I would like it to cover items in the bed when I am not using my goose neck and be water leak resistant. I am going to use a seal on the tail gate. Thank you for your input.

check out Truxedo... have had one on my pickup the past 3 yrs.

Access has a good one too, had one on my 98 Dodge, sold the cover to my neighbor when I bought my '03, he is very happy with it.

Not TeK-Style. When it's cold I can't get the snaps to even come close. If I were to do it again, I'd give serious consideration to a hard roll up type (Pace-Edwards or similar). There a little spendy, but it locks and can be easily used in the winter.

I've got the lite-rider from Geno's garage. It doesn't lock, but I added a tailgate lock. Seems to work pretty good at keeping water out. Been through one winter and summer with it, and it's no worse for wear. Also had about a 6-8 inches of snow on it when I was in Canada last December, and that didn't seem to hurt it, either.

I have a TRUXEDO on my '01 shortbed and I love. I like the way the bars roll up with the cover. It also has a nice tight fit on the tailgate. -Jason

I'm looking at using one that puts metal slats in the canvus so my tools will not be acessed by a pocket knife, has a lock and uses tracks on sides no snaps, I saw one on a truck a while back , budo not have a link to one yet.

I've got an Access roll up cover and a tailgate lock. Very happy with the cover and the performance. Easy to open and close, and looks good today as when it went on 18 months ago.

Could someone slit it with a knife - yes. But getting into any kind of cover, even a shell, is not difficult.

I have had my Extang RT for about a year and I love it. It only took about an hour to mount up and seem to stay taught no matter hot or cold out side. As for snow build up I typically brush it off after about eight inches and not because it sags but because I figure why tempt. it's fate. See my gallery for pics.
