Hey guys!
This July my dad and I bought a '95 3500 4x4 with a NV4500 and 4. 10 gears. It was used to pull a 5th wheel flatbed for around 300,000 miles. I'm not for sure but when we bought it the factory torque plate had been slid enough to make some smoke.
Now I plan to drive it to and from school, and pull a race car every weekend during the summer
So far I haven't done any serious BOMBing except for exterminating the muffler and cat, blocking off the waste gate, adding a boost guage and soon a pyrometer, and having the plate slid forward for 1000 miles and now back to close to factory.
This Christmas Dad bought me a Diesel Performanc Propane Injection system to try to get rid my 13-15 mpg troubles and increase towing power. Maybe I shouldn't even install this?

Now that my throw out bearing is going out I would like to put in a better clutch. Since I could slip the factory one fairley good/bad
#ad
with the stock plate forward all the way.
Some of my future power parts I want to purchase would be a governor kit, more turbo and psychotty air with a paper element.
Any Input on good or bad modifications, or things that I should or shouldn't do to this high miled Cummins would be greatly appriciated.
