Anybody running one of these? Which is the best for the buck? I know transferflow is a great tank but I don't like the electronic control. I just want a tank I can transfer fuel in and out of. TIA John
I'm running my third tank of fuel now through my 51gal I got from RDS (same as Northern Tool). I did a gravity setup w/filter and like it ok. Other than it clogging two filters from all the crap in the tank. I almost forget I need to fill up sometimes, I don't drive many miles and can usually run a month on the combined tanks. But the $200 per fillup reminds me real quick.
LOL 'eh John what ever happened to frugal? :-laf With todays market you will prolly see more and more guys getting aux tanks With the fuel pricing is so up and down one couls Tide themselves over between downs rather than ups thus saving a few bucks.
A guy that just recently left my work had an 03 f350 with a big ol honkin' aux unit. He figured every 3. 5 weeks (Crazy pie charts and freak math with stats and figures) there is a radical swing in the down trend on fuel. ... just so happens that he can tie himself over with the fuel load he has to reap the bennys.
