Here is a bit of news for Harbor freight shoppers!

Snap on's in NJ on CL are 1500+
4K is pretty regular for a used decent sized box if it's newer with shiney/ unique paint, or a "collector edition". Lol.....
I saw one for 15K :{
These are nice, and every wrench head would drool over them, but I really don't need something that caliber.
I have to buy what I can afford.
I will however try to find the snap-on truck before buying one of these other ones.

The deals are where you find them. That box combo I posted is a bit small, and the drawers wouldn't be rollerized, but that's top notch stuff for 700 and you probably could haggle a bit. All you'd need is a nice sandwich box, and those are cheap and seen often. At work, my job chest is newer vintage, and the next size smaller Snap on. I got it for $100 at Englishtown swaps on a Sunday afternoon some years back. The guy didn't want to bring it back home.*

There's a lot of unique brand boxes out there but that one in the link sure looks low end Snap on. I heard Snap on used a vendor by the name "national box" or something like that.*
*One brand box I think napa carries is Homak. Years ago I saw a Homak come out of Costco and it was a real nice roll away.*

The stainless box is interesting, depending on gauge thickness and slide mechanisms it might not be too bad. 430 has a low chromium and moly count ( poor resistance to corrosion) but as long as it is kept indoors and any corrosive fluids away from it I would think it would hold its finish ok.

FYI those seem to be located near Pittsburgh, Pa.

I did notice the area code despite being listed under Philly CL.... 724 must cover a large area - Sharon PA, home of Sharon Speedway which is owned by former World of Outlaw and USAC champ Dave Blaney is also 724 area code.
Basically right down the road from me.

I have a 48" Craftsman rollaway, 48" single drawer mid chest and 48" Chest. I have added two HF side cabinets (One to each side of the rollaway). I love the side cabinets. They work excellent. My total width is now at 72" and the height of the rollaway/mid-chest/chest is about 68" with the lid closed. The two side cabinets give me areas on top of them to set up my battery chargers for battery operated tools. All my Craftsman boxes are now 17 years old and my HF boxes are 1 year old. I also have a stainless steel rollaway (I think 32") I bought from Lowes (Kobalt). It is about 48" tall with the work tray on top. Nice rollaway. The drawers are very smooth but I can't get this unit to sit level. Always has a very slight rock to it. The tires are very supple on it and smooth. This rollaway gets moved around my 3 stall garage fairly regularly whereas my Craftsman unit is in another building (shop) and is stationary. The Craftsman is way too heavy for this old guy to pull around!

One detail no one mentioned regarding the Red Communist Chinese tool outlet (aka Harbor Freight) boxes is the 20% and 25% discount coupons in the sales papers. On larger items this is a deal changer.

If you read the fine print those 20-25% coupons don't apply to big ticket items like tool boxes, welders, floor jacks, etc.

Yep, I forgot the big item exclusion. Although a couple months ago I used a 20% coupon on their Victor knockoff oxygen acetylene torch kit, about a $150 item. Was a very busy register and the clerk may have mistakenly taken it.....not sure on that. Or it could have just squeaked under the limit, whatever that is.

They will take those coupons at my local place, but it will be a discount off the original price.
They wont combine discounts!
I still have not decided.
