I'm having trouble removing the wheels on my dually. I removed the lug nuts but the wheels are stuck on. I was wondering if there are any good tools or techniques for removing them? I found the duallybuddy online and it seems like a good idea - have any of you tried it? Are there any other tools that are worth trying? I have tried hitting the tire with a good sized hammer and have tried prying with a bar. I have read lots about loosening lug nuts and then driving around to break them loose but there has got to be a better way.

I have always just used a sledge on the back. A few good whacks at different places around the tire have always done it. After you get them off put never seize on the area where the wheel contacts the hub and you shouldn't have any problems in the future.

I have a really big snap-on sledge......shot hammer actually. I usually work up a sweat getting the inners off and I even clean and grease while everything is apart.
