With a 2nd stage plate from BD,Scott's induction system, and straight pipe, what type of boost numbers should I see(boost guage on order)? Lets say while running in 4th gear,rpms in the 2000-2200 range, pulling a 6% grade with 5th wheel in tow?

Rick,I can't really answer your question,but if you are wondering what size boost gauge to get 40# would most likely be alright,50# would be better.

My new ISSPRO 50# boost guage came in today. What I was wondering was what I would be seeing when I'm towing with the mod. that I mentioned above. Would it go to 30#'s or what of boost, thats what I was wondering. .

Rick,It looks like we have similar mods,although I have a larger turbo. The highest I've seen my boost is 38psi,on a 7% pulling 25k in 4th. That's where the wastegate is set to open on my 3500'. About that time I'm usually keeping my eye on the EGTs other than boost. If you have a stock turbo you will probibly see less,more like the mid to upper 20s.

It would be a guess, but mid to high 20s.
Stock runs around 18-20 give or take a little.
What are you seeing???

95' 2500 standard trans. 2wd reg cab 125,000 miles.
TST #4 plate kit, 370 Diamond B injectors, Afc spring kit, Gov. spring kit,TST's fuel pressure adapter and 2 guage pillar mount, SPA EGT/Boost guage. Joe D's Sachs clutch is in.
 
The guage goes in this week and I will let you know. I would guess that it will show the numbers that you stated. I just wanted to know what to expect. .

Rick, I can't comment on your specific mods, but do know that the 215 hp motors run higher boost levels than the others. My '97 will pull 24 psi bone stock in 4th or 5th, even empty.

I'm getting 30 completely unloaded on my 91... . how much do you think I would get with my truck loaded??
