So I am watching the re-run of this episode and I do not hear them mentioning the route they are taking. It does not mention it on the History Channel website either.



Anyone know the trail and pass they are going over?

It's called engineers pass. It starts just south of Ouray on the million dollar highway.

Hwy 550 Montrose to Durango Blue Ribbon drive for sure.

Owl Creek Pass 10,114 ft

Red Mountain Pass 11,075 ft

Molas Pass 10,899 ft

Coal Bank Pass 10,640 ft



Did it in a stock 04 Dodge with TT in tow not the white knuckle seat gripping armrest ripping drive that the TV show Worlds Most Dangerous Drives made it out to be. Lots of turn outs for Pics or just letting people by. Lots and Lots of scenic views.
