Where the EDGE EZ plugs in at?

i know they are awesome. I have had them in two of my trucks and loved them. How could you not like an awesome TQ with a lifetime warrenty? nobody comes close to that. I have no affliliation to him but he will bend over backwards to make things right.

well i was thinking of putting one on my truck and i was woundering if they were a good tc. i haven't heard to much about them so i was just doing some checking. to see if that was the one i want...

There are quite a few of us from the upper midwest that have Daves stuff. As far as I know he has done NO advertising on the TDR, or anywhere else other than word of mouth.

I have his trick 10/20 Competition stator. TurboTweaker has one as well. His family's farm truck has a regular tripple disc in it. All have been great units.

I personally know at least a dozen people that have his converters/trannys and have No complaints.

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you'd like.

do you know what the hp/tq ratings are on them?

I dont' think he officially has them rated. I'd call him and talk to him.

He has a LIFETIME warranty on the converters for a reason. He's that confidant in these parts.

I know of a couple trucks running around with over 600hp and have no problems.

I just had Dave's triple disc TC, VB, and front drum with new seals installed this past weekend. Great guy to deal with who just wants to make sure you get it done right. Oh and by the way Dave's TC & VB... ..... :--) HOLD ON it's a whole new truck. You think you like driving your truck now, It's even a whole lot funner with the TC & VB upgrade.

ive had daves 47re for about a month now 3000 miles and no complaints. it is the triple conv. with billet input and so on. it is awesome!!! dave told me over the phone 585 rwhp is about max for my setup----but that was because i didnt get the billet mid and output shafts. ;)

I'll say this, I bought a truck with the Bro Dave convertor in it and boosted the truck up to 420 HP. On the drag strip, hammering it off the line it holds like it's glued together. Not a triple, just a single. To tell the truth, if I were to buy one, it would be a SunCoast, cause they are local. But Daves stuff is bad to the bone. Very strong. If I lived in that area, that's what i would use. Support the locals.

I have had Dave's triple disk for several years now and no problems.

Dave is great guy to deal with, and is always ready to help, in person or by phone.

He does have an advertisement in the back of the TDR Magazine.

Josh, I believe Dave quit coming into the forums as a result of some of the crap  that occurred back in the early auto transmission wars :( Those of you who remember the early transmission wars, will remember that discussions/accusations/responses could get pretty heated, and resulted in several people not being in the forums anymore!

In fact Steve/Robin created several NEW rules because of the transmission wars!

I believe that all was starting/wraping up when I first got on the TDR.

But talking to him in person, and on the phone..... now that you mention that... . I see a link as to a couple of things he talked about.

As far as HP goes... . I was remembering today..... Amianthus has one of Daves RH's behind his Twin Turbo'ed P-pumped 24v. I don't know the HP he's putting down, but I'm sure it's not to bad!
